Roseann Montenes

Roseann (Manarte) Montenes has been associated with June Claire for 35 years. In her time here, she has taught all ages and forms of dance. As a former JC Lynn Dancer, she has performed in major productions including being hired by Disney, performing at Lincoln Center, and many other major performances. Our director Lynda Gachè, a Radio City Rockette, trained her. Roseann teaches our JC Lynn Dancers and enjoys every second of passing on her love and passion of dance to her students as well as training them for their future. Roseann believes she has achieved all her goals and successes in her professional career because of the structure, dedication, and learned leadership that she received at June Claire Dance. Her daughter is a dancer at our studio and is a member of our Juniorettes Dance Company. Roseann is currently the Head of Strategic Audience Sales and Partnerships for A+E Networks.

Julia Lee

Julia has been a part of the June Claire Dance Center for 20 years. She began by taking her core classes and working her way up to the advanced level. She then became part of June Claire’s Long Island Ballet Theater and the Junior Dance Company under our director Lynda Gachè. This led to her performing in our JCLynn Dance Company, and expanding her knowledge in the realm of precision dance. This extensive background at June Claire opened up opportunities such as The Radio City Rockettes Summer Training Program and the ability to begin teaching here at June Claire. After graduating college with her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, she is currently working as an elementary school teacher. Combining her love of teaching and all she has learned here at June Claire, she continues to spread her love of dance to the next generation.
